Every September the historic market town of Wirksworth throws open its doors and warmly invites you to see great art in a truly wonderful place. Inspirational work from both international and local artists fill the streets, houses and historic buildings of this fascinating town.
Thanks to everyone who helped make Wirksworth Festival such a success in 2012. Dates for your diary, Friday 6th to Sunday 22nd September will be Wirksworth Festival 2013. Full details will be posted here, or sign up to our mailing list for first news.

Art and Architecture Trail
On the fantastic opening weekend of the Festival, the whole town becomes a gallery when over 100 artists and makers show their work in every conceivable space. The deadline for applications has now passed (deadline was 5pm on 18th April).
Contemporary Visual Art

From world class performers to the very best home grown talent, events include music, theatre, comedy, dance, film, up and coming talent and much more.
