Volunteers are an important and valued part of Wirksworth Festival.

The festival is run by a tiny team of part time staff and a huge army of volunteers helping out at every level from programming and managing events to selling badges; some work throughout the year and other give just an hour or two of their time. Every festival volunteer is important and without volunteers the festival would not happen.
