Join Wirksworth Festival Chorus for the day.
This will be the 6th workshop and performance of this well supported choir. In 05 performed Verdi’s Requiem, 06 Puccini’s Messa di Gloria, 07 Mozart’s Requiem in St Mary’s Church, 08 Opera Choruses and 09 Rossini’s Messe Sollennelle. This years selections are Coleridge Taylor’s musical Hiawatha’s Wedding Feast, a setting of verses by the American poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow and Parry’s Blest Pair of Sirens composed in 1887 for C.V.Stanford’s Bach Choir

Refreshments and a buffet lunch available for participants.
