Derby Chamber Orchestra’s continued exploration of the Beethoven Piano Concertos in the exalted company of Beate Toyka. This year Beate returns to play the beautiful Third Concerto. Beethoven also opens this exciting concert with the overture to Coriolan and concludes with Haydn’s bustling ‘ London’ symphony inspired by his visits to the capital. The evening also features the strings of the Orchestra in a performance of Webern’s spine-tinglingly romantic Langsamer Satz. Book early for this Festival favourite.
