A night of electronica performed by one of Wirksworths own rising stars

The Electronic Exchange are Najia Bagi and Wirksworth’s Tullis Rennie. A collaborative project realised remotely from their homes in Manchester & Barcelona written and recorded ‘together’ entirely via the web. The music is a melting pot of shared influences: dark and eerie urban soundscapes meet soulful and uplifting vocal melodies.

cottrell/findlay/hunter create free improvisations influenced by contemporary classical, rock and jazz in their shared backgrounds. Cello meets baritone saxophone meets guitar meets laptop meets a lot of effects pedals... Their performance features a (not-so) surprise guest on live electronics, and will include a live-improvised score to a short film.
