An exciting new addition to last years festival. The Performance Fringe is not selected, everybody has the chance to take part, new talent is fostered and audiences have the chance to see a truly diverse programme of events.

Last year we issued an invitation to individual artists and producers to locate and mount their own productions - just what local people have been doing for years infact. The response was great with 27 events over the 17 days of the festival. This year we're hoping for an even better response.
