Interventions at Wirksworth Heritage Centre

Commissioned as part of re:place – site specific contemporary art in Derbyshire – a project of Derbyshire Arts Development Group. Kate is creating a new body of work revealing and celebrating the unique homemade tools and technologies of Derbyshire farmers, which will be installed as a series of interventions in the Heritage Centre, placing her objects, drawings and prints amongst the local history collections. 

Kate will also work with local schools on objects, collecting and the making of meaning.
