Lattice Labyrinths are “tilings” which can be repeated without limit. Building on a Eureka moment during my student days I have only recently found time to fully uncover the theory and develop design techniques. I’ve had an educational workbook published, have presented a paper at the 2014 Bridges Conference on Mathematics and the Arts in Seoul and have lots of fun on my blog, latticelabyrinths.net. I’m desperate to find more applications in textile design, architectural pavings and mathematical education. The highly symmetrical tiling exhibited is cryptically inspired by St Mary’s Church patronal festival, September 8th. Can you discover how?
