I lived in an Italian village for eight years, then moved to Manchester where I am a Year 11 student. Living in two places, two cultures, speaking two languages taught me that everything has a backstory, that beneath the surface lie echoes of hidden self-expression.
In September 2016 I got my first camera and started taking photographs. Last year I exhibited landscapes alongside graffiti. Over the last year I have delved deeper into the unseen and hidden side of Manchester – backstage of the city – to explore the vast structures and spaces that the industrial revolution has left behind.
