I create landscapes exclusively using recycled magazine cuttings. I find this to be an exciting and rewarding medium, producing images with the richness of a photograph, yet the intrigue of juxtaposed printed shapes, colours and textures, often used in a surreal way. I work from my own photographic reference, particularly inspired by the Peak District, and the mountains and coastline of Wales. I’m a member of Peak District Artisans and exhibit regularly; run workshops; and tackle commissions. I won the Artist award at the Buxton Festival Fringe 2017.
