Festival: 2022

My drawing and printmaking work is about a response to the transient marks we make as we inhabit our surroundings. I am particularly interested in the footprint left in places that become derelict and forgotten: Functional and military architecture whose purpose has become redundant often mean that these structures can become overlooked and are eventually taken back by nature.

My printmaking practice uses found packaging and household materials to create collagraph intaglio plates and my studio is my dining table; I am interested in exploring how low-fi printmaking processes can enhance the fragility of my subject matter.
