I pay attention to the mundane world around me in order to maintain interest within my domestic environment.
I am drawn to the fragile and vulnerable, the overlooked and easily disturbed. Making the slightest of interventions into the environment to create my ‘sculptures’, I then use photography to capture their often fleeting existence and to raise the status of their insignificance.
My interest is in observing the interplay between my own intentions and what ‘fate’ has in store for them.
This work involves experiments with water, bubbles and reflective surfaces resulting in a series of up to ten digital images.
