Festival: 2018
Event type:

Event dates:

Sunday 16th September, 2018 - 12:00pm to 5:00pm

On Sunday 16 September from 12.00 to 5.00pm Wirksworth Festival will present Altitude, the free, youth arts event taking place at three local venues Mount Cook Adventure Centre, Eco Centre and National Stone Centre with performances and exhibitions from young people aged 11-25, showcasing some of the best of local talent across the three sites.

A call out by Wirksworth Festival for young people to take part has uncovered many impressive local artists and performers and the audience is sure to be inspired by the range and quality of work from visual arts and craft, rock, pop, hip hop and R&B to street and contemporary dance.

Alongside the  performance stages, there will be some great workshops where young people can get hands on with professional artists.

Whether you enjoy music, dance, drama or arts and craft, there’ll be something to enjoy and take part in.

There’s still time to get involved as a young artist or performer by contacting office@wirksworthfestival.co.uk
