One of Britain’s most influential dancehall toasters. He pushed the music back toward a Rastafarian political consciousness. Macka.b’s humour, intelligence and integrity is unrivalled. His show incorporates issues that are close to his Heart; Veganism, Medical Marijuana and the exploitation of Africa’s resources along with witty references to McDonalds, ReggaeReggae Sauce and playing music from flash drives…
Macka.b released his new album ‘Never Played a 45’ on the Peckings label in October 2015 to worldwide acclaim and he toured extensively in 2016. A trip to the Far East took in; Hong Kong, Thailand and Japan. He has recently collaborated with young UK Drum ‘n’ Bass and Dubstep producers to great effect.
Skarambe are a Ska /2 Tone six-piece band from Wirksworth, predominantly covering bands like The Specials and Madness. An up and coming ska band with a growing reputation
